June 2017 Meetup Preview

Please join us for our June meetup featuring an important discussion on criminal justice reform in the District. Our panel will include presentations on two topics. First, Eugene Puryear from Stop Police Terror Project DC will discuss the implementation of the NEAR Act. Then, Jeremy Mohler from In the Public Interest and Emily Tatro from the Council for Court Excellence will discuss the process for constructing the new DC jail, with an emphasis on increasing the public input from impacted communities. There will be plenty of time for audience Q&A following the presentations.

We hope we can count on you to join us on June 14 for this meetup Full event details and RSVP information can be found below. *Please note that the venue size may require latecomers to stand during the presentation, though food and drink service will continue throughout the night.*
