Democracy for America
Democracy for America (DFA), the loosely affiliated national parent organization of DC4D, is a member-driven, people-powered political action committee founded by former presidential candidate and DNC chair Gov. Howard Dean with a mission to build and empower the progressive grassroots to take our democracy back from corporations and the wealthy few and aggressively combat growing income inequality.

DC Fair Elections Coalition
The DC Fair Elections Coalition includes over 70 national and local organizations advocating for small donor empowerment campaign finance reform including a publicly-financed small contribution matching system to rebalance the scales of power in DC elections back to ordinary people in the District.

DC Jobs with Justice
DC Jobs with Justice is a dynamic coalition of labor organizations, community groups, faith-based organizations, and student groups dedicated to protecting the rights of working people and supporting community struggles to build a more just society.

DC Statehood Coalition
Founded in 2012, the DC Statehood Coalition is a coalition of local and national organizations who support statehood for the people of Washington, D.C.

DC Working Families
Launched by a grassroots coalition of community organizations, union activists, and progressive elected officials, Working Families is a growing progressive political organization that fights for an economy that works for all of us, and a democracy in which every voice matters.

Empower DC
Empower DC is a citywide, multi-issue, membership-based community organizing project with a mission to to enhance, improve, and promote the self-advocacy of low and moderate income DC residents in order to bring about sustained improvements in their quality of life.

Fair Budget Coalition
Since its founding in 1994, the Fair Budget Coalition has brought together human and legal services providers, community members directly impacted by poverty, professional advocates, faith organizations, and concerned D.C. residents to advocate for a District budget and public policies that address poverty and human needs.

Jews United For Justice
Jews United For Justice (JUFJ) is a grassroots community that seeks to repair the world by concentrating on issues of local concern, and a consistent partner with DC4D on many issue campaigns, including Paid Family Leave.

ONE DC
ONE DC (formerly Manna CDC) was founded in 1997 with a mission to exercise political strength to create and preserve racial and economic equity in Shaw and the District, and seeks to create a community in DC that is equitable for all.

Stop Police Terror Project
Stop Police Terror Project DC is an organization in the Washington D.C. area committed to changing the system of racist, militarized policing in our region.

The DC Fiscal Policy Institute conducts research and public education on budget and tax issues in the District of Columbia, with a particular emphasis on issues that affect low- and moderate-income residents.

Greater Greater Washington is a community news source focusing on urban planning and health issues in the DMV.

The Washington City Paper is the primary source of alternative news for the District, and regularly features important information and perspectives on key issues in the city.
